Intermediate Classes

£55 for 8 weeks (max. of 6 dogs)

 

In this course you will improve on the skills you have already acquired, challenging both you and your dog with more difficult exercises.

 

The intermediate course will cover:

• attention on owner for 2 mins with distractions
• Stay (sit and down) with owner turned away at distance 
• good focus heelwork with distraction (upto a minute)
• Basic Distance control 
• Recall to sit in front 
• Retrieve a toy/dummy  
• Running stop
• Fun stuff such as clicker training, games and tricks

Advanced Class

Pay as you go £5 or 4 class for £16 (max. 6 dogs)

 

The advanced class will follow on with improving the above skills, as well as covering:

• Down, Sit and stand at a distance
• Stand
• Formal retrieve 
• Present
• Finish
• Team games and games to improve performance

These classes are for people who want to enjoy the company of their dogs, the challenge of learning new skills and improving their dog handling with other like minded people. Both classes are run outside for 1 hour with time at the end for discussion.
