Puppy Classes
£60 for 8 week course (max. 6 puppies for each course)

For puppies/juveniles, the course is held in High Cross Village hall just outside Ware, course dates and times throughout the year. 

 

During the course you will learn about your dog and what makes them tick and how to live together for a harmonious life. MilnersMutts use kind lure and reward based training centred around your dogs capabilities.

  

At the end of the course your dog should be able to do the following: 

• Attention on owner
• Sit
• Down
• Stay
• Recall
• Walk on loose lead

As part of the course you will be given handouts on the main commands of that week as a reminder for you as well as general information on dog behaviour. During the class we will also introduce fun games to play and give you some ideas for keeping your dog out of harms way when at home, as well as discussing normal dog behaviour.

 

Socialisation 

Socialisation is very important for puppy development but must be done properly to get the best results and this is what is provided in the social walks. Social walks are run seperately for 45 mins - 1.5hrs dependent on age and size of the dog and are included in the price of your course, the dog will be assessed to ensure they are placed in the appropriate group, these can be booked through the contact us page.
